By accessing and using Cidepix, by downloading digital content you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions in this Agreement. If you do not agree to all of the Terms and Conditions, do not access or use this website. 

Cidepix reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of the Agreement and such modifications shall be effective immediately. Please visit this page periodically to review the Terms and Conditions because your access and use of the Site will be subject to the current version of the Terms and Conditions. Your continued access or use of this website will be deemed your acceptance of such changes.

The license type you are getting is described on this agreement. This agreement is also sent to you (via email) as your license along with the download links of the images you purchased from Cidepix. It is only valid as a license for the images appearing on the same email and can not be used for licensing any other images.

Description of Service:

This website belongs to stock vector image creator Cihan Demirok under the trading name Cidepix.

Cidepix is an online service where users can buy and license various design elements such as stock icons, logo symbols and creative vector illustrations.

Cidepix is not a microstock agency and all images available for sale are solely owned by Cidepix. All graphics and contents are in vector format and can be edited using vector editing software such as Adobe illustrator, CorelDraw and Freehand.

Intellectual Property, Cidepix Content in General:

Cidepix owns all copyrights, or other intellectual property and proprietary rights in and to the website to the fullest extent provided under international copyright law.

 All the content on this site (icons, symbols, clip-art) are protected by copyright, and other intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized use of any content will violate such laws and the Terms and Conditions. Unless you acquire appropriate license(s) Cidepix does not grant you any permission to use any content of this site.

 All downloadable products available on this website are licensed for the end user only and those users may not permit any third parties to use their purchased products.

 You agree not to copy, distribute, republish, link to, download, modify, adapt, create derivative works based on, sell, display or license any content. You also agree not to use any robots or similar data and/or image gathering and extraction methods in connection with the Site or Content.

 Users must purchase a license to use the contents available on this website. Cidepix retains the copyrights and all associated rights to the products and images (icons, symbols, clip art, illustration etc.), but the license allows users to use and display the purchased items in their design projects or customized logos.

If you are purchasing the icons(or any downloadable Cidepix content) on behalf of a client, it is your responsibility to inform them that they are getting a Non-Exclusive product which will be sold multiple times by Cidepix. They must know that Cidepix retains the copyrights and they only get to display the image(s) in their projects or promotional material that represents their business.

You or your clients accept that it is always a possibility that you might come across some other client of Cidepix who purchased the same content for their projects and promotional needs. If you are looking for exclusive content, you may not purchase from Cidepix.

Payments are processed using Paypal for your convenience. All users can pay for the service using their Paypal accounts or credit cards that are accepted at the time of their purchase. No registration is required to make a purchase. Your credit card details are not stored on the website.

Content Delivery

-       Content delivery on Cidepix is instant. As soon as your payment is processed you will be redirected to the page where you can download your purchases.
-       It is important that you provide a valid email address during checkout, in order for you to get a back up copy of your download link(s).
-       The email you receive will be your receipt which can be regarded as a proof of your purchase, though keep in mind it is NOT for refund purposes but only to determine if you really are a customer of Cidepix.

Refunds

-       Cidepix does NOT offer refunds due to following reasons.

• You are provided a preview of the files you may consider buying (minus the watermark), therefore you know exactly what you are getting before purchase.
• Digital products available on this site can not really be returned to Cidepix once you download the files. That’s why they can not be treated the same way as physical goods when it comes to refunds.
• Cidepix is not responsible If you change your mind after purchase or you no longer need to use the image(s).

 

By using Cidepix service, you agree not to transmit or store information on the website that contains viruses, trojan horses, worms, or other electronic data that are intended to damage Cidepix system and website.

The basic information you provide when purchasing content from Cidepix will be regarded as genuine. You agree that providing false information may prevent you from getting the best possible service.

F.A.Q.

What does “Royalty Free” and “Non-Exclusive” icons mean?

Royalty Free license basically means you pay a one time fee for any of the downloadable products on this website and get to use them as many times as you need without paying additional royalties. Remember while you get the usage rights, Cidepix will always retain the copyrights. Your usage rights as a customer are non-transferable. Royalty free license does NOT grant you the rights to resell, distribute or trademark any of the downloadable products in their original or altered forms.

 Non-exclusive means that the items are available for sale more than once. Cidepix keeps selling the items after you’ve made your purchase.

Can I copyright or trademark my purchased items?

NO! You may NOT copyright or trademark any of the items (icons, clip art) you purchased as Cidepix will always retain the copyrights and other customers will continue to purchase the same image. You do get the right to use your purchased image(s) as many times as you need though.

Can I buy any of your images (icons, clip art) exclusively so no one else can use it?

NO! Cidepix does not currently offer exclusive solutions. All the content is available as non-exclusive, so Cidepix can provide an affordable option to customers around the world.

Can you customize an image (logo, icon) for me?

This service is not currently available.

Can you create an exclusive logo for me?

This service is not currently available.

Is it possible to use your icons for free if it’s for non-commercial purposes?

No! Under no circumstances can the images be used for free. Not even the watermarked versions. Cidepix will not hesitate to take legal action in any type of copyright infringement.

Can I make changes to the image?

Yes. Feel free to make necessary changes after your purchase. Please keep in mind that you can NOT claim copyright on altered versions just like you can not do that for the originals as Cidepix always retains the copyrights.

Can I use Cidepix content on templates?

No! You can NOT use Cidepix images on any kind of templates. Distributing images by using them on your templates is not permitted with the Standard RF License. Please contact Cidepix if you need further information or you would like to get an extended license that will enable you to use the images on templates. Extended License fee is $100.

Can I print the images I bought from Cidepix on products like mugs, t-shirts etc.?

If you are intending to sell them. No!

If it’s for your personal use, then Yes!

If you like to print Cidepix content on mugs, t-shirts that will be sold, you will need to get an extended license. Please contact Cidepix if you need further information or you would like to get an extended license that will enable you to use the images on templates. Extended License fee is $100.

File Formats (Files come in a zip folder)

-       You will need a vector editing software such as Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, or CorelDRAW to modify your downloaded EPS file(s).
-       Please remember that raster editing software such as Photoshop can not be used to modify vector EPS files.
-       A JPEG version is also included in your download folder which you can open in Photoshop. Please note that your editing options will be limited with a JPEG file compared to a vector EPS file.
