Designing Team Icons for Euro 2020 Countries – Creation Process

Euro 2020 is around the corner and it’s only a few days before the tournament begins. 24 countries will participate in European Football Championship 2020 and I wanted to create team icons (or badges) for all participating countries.
As I mentioned in the video, this is not actually a tutorial, but only me sharing my design and creation process. It’s mostly unedited and in real time so it may still serve as a tutorial if you watch it closely. Nevertheless I hope it may provide some inspiration for some of you out there.

UEFA EURO 2020 will take place one year later due to unprecedented conditions. The tournament dates are 11 June to 11 July 2021. Below are all 24 teams from each group that will participate in this years competition.

Group A: Turkey, Italy, Wales, Switzerland
Group B: Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Russia
Group C: Netherlands, Ukraine, Austria, North Macedonia
Group D: England, Croatia, Scotland, Czech Republic
Group E: Spain, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia
Group F: Hungary, Portugal, France, Germany
